Bottle from grocery store in maastrict, pours a chestnut colour, light head that didn’t last. A sweet caramel taste that is sweet and a little earthy. Aroma of brown sugar and raisins.

Dark red colour. Aroma of caramel and malts. Sweet caramel taste but also quite bitter too. Not particularly flavoursome. Leaves an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. WhoU (127) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - NOV 2, 2013
Very sweet easy drinking. Not bad enjoyable although not a purist beer
Looks good. On the sweet side though rhyshewer (79) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 29, 2013
Aroma: Huge yeast nose with a touch of banana and biscuit. A hint of herbal hops in the background. Develops a slight soapy character.
Appearance: Deep ruby with clear edges and a quickly-dissipating, small head.
Taste: Clean with a developing, slight dark malt flavour. Herbal hop end twinned with a dank finish.
Palate: Thin, medium carbonated.
Overall: Tastes like a bland lager with a touch of bland dark malt character. Not overly exciting.

Pours a dark brown colour, taste is yeasty, malty and Belgian like, I liked this beer very much

30cl bottle. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a caramel coloured head, and very little visible carbonation. Aromas of dried fruit, a rusty metallic note, brown sugar, and a light earthy note. The taste is similar. Sweet, dried fruits, molasses, light alcohol, a mild Belgian note, and brown sugar. It’s a little too one sided with the sweetness. Lekkerste bockbier wat ik tot nu toe dit jaar heb geprobeerd. Volle smaak, lekker kruidig! bogus (97) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 8, 2013
03l bottle bought at the supermarket. Dark ruby colour. Sweet scent, little malty, not that much aroma. Nice carbonation (not too much). Creamy caramel with a slight bitterness. Ok. tricksta_p (5144) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2014 Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, brown sugar. Flavour is sugary sweetness. It’s enjoyable enough, but too sweet and I’ve had much better dunkler bocks. bonkiedeaap (815) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2013
Bought a bottle at the supermarket. The beer has a deep ruby red color, the color of autumn leaves and a nice head, CO2 level is perfect. The aroma of caramel comes directly into your nose. The taste is full and creamy with a light bitter. The finish is pleasant with a nice bitter. A nice Bock, but not the best one in Holland.
