COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 4 years ago. Very dark brown, reddish against the light. Nice and lasting head. Fruity and winy aroma, with a strong note of dried plums. The taste is very fruity (blackberries), with a little sweetness. The aftertaste is very long, full of maltiness and dark chocolate.

Cherry sour and bitter nutes in taste. Caramel nutes and good balanced sweetness in palate. White foam, stays for 2 minutes. Dark-cherry colour with beautiful cherry reflexes. A really must-try!

Wonderful dark brown colour (ruby?) and off-white head. Nice lightly sweet (caramel) and fruity aroma and flavour. The flavour is also delicately sour which is perfectly balanced by the excellently bitter finish.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2003 I had the Bock 1998 in 2003. Perfect dark appearance. Malty, fruity nose and flavour. Pretty sweet.
