This is the best Bock beer. Very good taste................................. dreamloomer (66) - Warsaw, POLAND - AUG 18, 2010
Bottle, 4 years ago.
Very dark brown, reddish against the light. Nice and lasting head.
Fruity and winy aroma, with a strong note of dried plums.
The taste is very fruity (blackberries), with a little sweetness. The aftertaste is very long, full of maltiness and dark chocolate. altugbeerfan (3) - - JUL 6, 2012 does not count

Cherry sour and bitter nutes in taste. Caramel nutes and good balanced sweetness in palate. White foam, stays for 2 minutes. Dark-cherry colour with beautiful cherry reflexes. A really must-try!

A very good bockbeer. I can't wait till the next bock season starts......... LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2002
Wonderful dark brown colour (ruby?) and off-white head. Nice lightly sweet (caramel) and fruity aroma and flavour. The flavour is also delicately sour which is perfectly balanced by the excellently bitter finish. jerohen (2321) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - FEB 2, 2002
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2003 I had the Bock 1998 in 2003. Perfect dark appearance. Malty, fruity nose and flavour. Pretty sweet. thealcoholic (104) - Hilbert, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2002
