UPDATED: APR 7, 2016 The beer looks like a proper bock beer. The color is a nice dark ruby red, wen seen in the light. In the dark it is almost black. The beer pours layer of almond colored foam. The smell is sweet. There is cherries and red fruit. I also smell some sweet alcohol. There is some almond aswell. I also smell some dark roasted aroma’s. The smell is very nice, robust and strong. It is nice and autumny, but not the best bok smell ever. The taste is nice aswell. I taste almond, licorice, a little roast, and red fruit. Pretty much the same as the smell, with additional licorice. The taste is nice, but there are better bock beers. Not bad though. The finish has an almond flavor at first, followed by a drought. It asks for a sip of water to make the mouth wet again. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 3, 2010
Clear dark brown pour with a thick beige head. Pleasant aroma of fruits, chocolate, candy sweetness and mild smoked malt. Good flavor of fruits, malt, chocolate and candy sweetness. The body is light to medium with a slightly vinous texture and soft carbonation. wekker84 (2360) - etten-leur, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2010

Head disappears relatively quickly, lacing remianing. Tastes malty, with some tannic bitterness and dark fruit tang. Not too sweet, and mildy bitter overall. Well balanced. Little to no hop flavor. Xstream (242) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 16, 2013
A: Dark brown beer. Hazy, mocha foam top.
S: Sour yeast, light bitter hops, caramel and a subtle coffee scent.
T: Same as the smell suggests, but better. Has more sweetness to it then you’d expect, leveling out the light bitter and medium sourness. Not too sweet. Still fresh and balanced.
M: Low carbonation, giving it a somewhat creamy medium bodied feel. Could be a tad fresher for a better balance.
O: Nice balanced bock beer, but lacks a bit of complexity to call it very interesting.

0,3 l bottle from Albert Heijn XL in Roermond. Clear dark red brown, sticky tan head. An absolute beauty! Weak aroma of molasses, caramel and candy sugar. Taste is the same with some sweetness. Thick texture, almost no carbonation. Some subtle bitterness in the end. First Bock for me this year, a really good one! hamilton_w (264) - - DEC 5, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2016 Caramel aroma. Ruby color. Very small head. Taste is sweet, with hints of bitterness aftertaste. Bijl (636) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2016
Donker amber/rood, crèmekleurige schuimkraag die snel zakt, weinig koolzuur, vrij helder.
Aroma: Karamel, donker fruit, geroosterde mouten.
Smaak: Gelukkig niet mierzoet, karamel, toffee, donker geroosterde mouten, rozijnen, pruimen, iets kruidig en een redelijke bitter.
Deze Bock is prima..... redelijk body, romig, veel smaak, iets warmte. Afdronk is bitterzoet.
