COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2010
Bottle: Big brown airry head that disappears quick. Clear dark amber brown body. Smell dark fruits and spices, cardboard, caramel, sweets and (toasty) malts. Taste is almost viscous and a round body with a fruity start and bitter grassy ending. Dark dried fruits, spices, sweets, malts, caramel and some hops.

Bottle, A nice malty smell of chocolate. The large beige creamy head has a long duration, the body is black. The taste is also quite malty with a lot of chocolate in it. The body is medium strong and creamy, light oily with a normal carbonation.

Sweet malty nose, chocolate, sugar syrup, dries fruits (plums, raisins), winy, opaque redbrown, creamy tan head, small layer rests after a while, good, lacing, creamy bittersweet taste, by no means as sweet as you would expect from the aroma, somelight fruity sour notes, medium body, creamy, flat carbo, roasty bittersweet finish but now are the sweet accents stronger than in the taste, also those fruity notes continue. Also just a teeny weeny watery (why do I mention this). Not your typical Dutch bock.

30cl bottle @ home. Reddish nearly black color, brownish medium head. Aroma caramel, dark fruits, slightly coffee and cocoa. Taste light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, lively carbon, medium fine bitter finish. This is a tasty bock bear.

9/28/2006 12:13:30 PM Tap at Wildeman. A very tasty bock with a sweet and bitter taste. It’s really very dark, chocolate-flavored, with a prickly feel to it. Really enjoyed it.

Lightly sweet, floral aroma that becomes spiced at the end. Mildly sweet and citrusy with a spiced finish. Quite nice.
