COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Ingen bitterhed. Rimelig frisk i smagen.

DraftDodger (1458) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2017
Copenhagen 5/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Funny little ceramic bottle with cork cap. Pours clear red tinged dark brown with small off-white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Strong sweet aroma. Fermented plum, vanilla, brown sugar and alcohol. Low carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is heavy sweet and sugary. Almost no bitterness around. Aftertaste is long and very sweet. This beer reflects the package it comes in quite accurately. Small, clunky and way too sweet.

Bottled from the local supermarket from the owners secret stash Murky brown with a tan head. Sweetish fruity aroma with brown sugar and figs. Light body and bitterness. Spicy flavour with sugary notes, figs and clove(?).

Karamel kleurig bier met een crème kleurige schuimkraag. Aroma: karamel, donker fruit, voornamelijk zoet. Smaak: vijgen, karamel, licht zoet en klein bittertje. Kan er mee door.

Fancy 500ml crock style bottle, BB May 2018. Pours dark cola colour with moderate beige head. Very sweet aromas of caramel, raisins, plums, cherries, slight earthy notes. The taste is also overly sweet and cloying - big caramel and toasty bread malt character, the aforementioned dark fruits, with some herbal hop notes. The light body is a blessing with such sweetness, but would benefit from higher carbonation to give a drier mouthfeel. Far too sweet - would’ve been much better with a rich malty focus rather than caramel sweetness.

Crock. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, brown sugar, earth, nuts, chocolate. 7+ Palate is weaker than suggested by the aroma, with the taste being dough, chicory, some nuts. It’s quite sweet but dries out a little at the end with discreet bitterness. Grew on me a bit after at first seeming like a let down after the aroma. Has some depth.

ogivlado (7775) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 28, 2016
Bottled 500ml. -from Metro Zagreb. Dark amber coloured, small off-white head, caramel and dried fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, heavy dried fruits, touch of raisins and light spices with a way too sweet finish. Now and never again.
