UPDATED: MAY 24, 2016 Well was not expecting much and did not receive muc. At least drinkable because of sweetness

On keg at DHC Delft Clubhouse - Clear golden colour, with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is malty with hints of hops. Flavour is fine malt, some fruits and bitterness. Got boring after about five or six...

Hertog Jan pils, the beer of choice of south east Netherlands and many others. a clear golden delight with a white foam head. If you are looking in the supermarket for some beers to enjoy with some friends, this is the one for you. I have never met a someone who was dissapointed with being served one of these.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2017 Prima pils.... goudgeel, helder. Beste lager onder de grotere merken uit Nederland. Vind het ook nog eens een mooi etiket met een mooi verhaal. Hulde aan de Hertog!

33cl can. Pale golden colour, with a white head with poor retention. Smells sweet, like a cheap pilsner, which it is. The taste is a bit better than the aroma suggests. Bitter pilsner hops, sweet caramel. A nice carbonation and light body. Pretty refreshing, as far as pilsners go.

A nice pilsener. As with most southern Dtuch pilsener, they are not too sweet. Nice bitter tones and a sweet aftertaste.

Regular golden medium rocky white lasting head with good lacings. Lightly toasted malts up front with notes of grass, straw and barnyard otes, faintly hopped. Soft and rather smooth medium body. Juicy light toasty malt centre with a light bitterness and a medium finish. Drinkable.
