On tap; very easy drinking, not overly hoppy beer. Medium bodied, very smooth vs. other beers in the same category. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and would buy again.

Nice pilsner. Little malty but not bad. Colour and head are ok. Easy drinking. Bubbles could have been a little more expressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

30cl bottle at the in-laws. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium soapy white head. Aroma of malt, straw, hay, slight citrus, pale malt, slight hops. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter with a medium dry finish. Notes of pale malt, slight citrus, hay, cardboard. Texture is sticky, light bodied with medium carbonation

This pils used to be quite good in 2010. Nowadays (2017) it stinks, contains loads of sulphur. gives you an instant headache. Might be because not the best of hop is used. It’s also very sour and extremely bitter.

On tap at Beachclub O, Noordwijk on 13-Jun-2017. Hazy blonde colour with a large white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt and hops. Light body and medium carbonation. Fruit, sweet malt and light bitterness. A nice pilsner.

I prefer to have my pilsener fresh and drinkable. This pilsener the opposite though. Texture is really thick. Carbonation is lively. Taste is grassy, hay, malty with bitter notes of yeast and hops. Smells nice. Can understand why people like this, but it’s not the way I want my pilsener.

Had this at D’Arcy McGee right before seeing ZZ Top at the NAC, November 8, 2012... and just found my review. Poured a clean amber colour with a white creamy head and beautiful sticky lacing. Malty nose with a refreshing wet mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Slight sweet caramel malt taste with alcohol and hops. A decent pils that is more on the malty side than hoppy.

Bottle, historic rating, my wife got me a selection pack of Hertog Jan beers when she went to Netherlands. As Natuurzuiver Bier. This was my least favourite, a typical but not a bad pils.
