Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops, some rubber and earth. Flavour is leathery, slightly spiced, malty, hoppy and earthy. Quite pleasant and interesting pilsener. TrefwoordPunk (1289) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2007
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a medium and fading white head and a complex smell of hop, malt and spices. Taste is hoppy and spicey too. Really interesting for a pilsener Bullit (4675) - Burgos, SPAIN - NOV 15, 2007
Dark yellow colour, white head. Hoppy aroma. Flavour is hoppy and malty, with some fruits. Nice pilsener. Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2007 Bottle. Average beige and light creamy like head that mostly lasted. Nice thick film was left on the glass. Cloudy amber color. Aroma of toffee / caramel, light roasted notes, some fruity feel. Underlying malty notes. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Flavor was again malty sweet with a hint of bitter notes. Sweet caramel like finish. mike_77 (7011) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2007
A little darker than a regular Pilsener this slightly stronger version has a strong full taste. It’s a bit low on the hops compared to the malt but offers enough flavour overall to make it interesting. There’s an aftertaste which is both metallic and a little grassy.

The head is moderate and the color is golden. The aroma is hoppy and the flavour also has a lot of hops. I also get a few malty notes right before the finish, that has a nice bitterness. Hansen (8612) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2007
Dark yellow/golden and clear. Has a medium lasting, white head. Flavor and aroma has a little bit of bitterness, no floral notes. Flavor is mainly sweet. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2006
(Bottled) Deep golden / light amber color with a smallish, white head and some lace. Very mild aroma of pale malts, some alcohol and very faint hops. Sweet-malty, quite alcoholic flavor with some fruitiness. No hops to speak of (some flowery ones can be digged out), considering it’s supposed to be a pilsener. Medium-bodied, sweet-alcoholic palate with quite low carbonation. A drinkable European strong lager, but hardly a pilsener. raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - NOV 22, 2006
Had this one with a plate of ribs at the brewery. Worked fine with such a greasy and heavy food. Otherwise not too rememberable for a strong lager. Has the identifiable sweet character of a Hertog Jan product. DanBerg (59) - Alkmaar, NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2006
Nice full-bodied pilsener. Nothing wrong with the head and color, good appearance too with a ’strong’ name. Fine taste, better than the normal pilsener.
