Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast and spices. Taste is bread dough and grass. Nicely drinkable.

worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2013
Hazy medium yellow with a frothy lacy, lasting off-white head. Smells of banana/wheat, with hops, lime, alcohol and caramel. A nice tough of pepper too. Medium to thin light body, with medium carbonation. Sweet taste of banana with a light acidic, citrus and a medium toasted darker malt grass bitter finish. Decent enough to drink but not thst interesting.

[10/10/13] Draught at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Hazy yellow. Wheaty aroma of yeast, bread, banana and a bit of clove. Sweetish fruity flavor, yeasty and a bit spicy. Medium-bodied. Pretty refreshing.

Scopey (14778) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2013
Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy pale gold with a thick white head. The nose is toasty, dough, grass and light spice. The taste is earthy, hay, toast, grass, sugar and straw with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not a whole lot going on, but it’s alright.

Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2013
Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Big thanks to Fergus for this one. Pours clearish yellow with a tight, white cream head. Doughy wheat bread aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary wheat bread, faint straw. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Simple, bready wheat finish. Not offensive, pretty easy.

tricksta_p (4663) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - SEP 14, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2015 Aroma of citrus, wheats, some banana. More like a Belgian White than a Weizener. Doesn’t have much of a finish. A decent witbier, but rather thin.

blackisle (2590) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2013
Aroma is sweet, a lot of banana, hints of caramel, doughty yeast, cloudy deep golden-yellow color, starts with a good white head, settles down to about an inch, light-bodied, somewhat creamy, fruity wheat, lightly sour, hints of citrus, citrus is stronger in the aftertaste, crisp, semi-sweet finish with slight bitterness, more a weizen than a white beer. So the name Weizener is quite appropiate.

EpicWardrobe (79) - - AUG 22, 2013
Dark yellow with a white head that becomes a thin layer. Aroma is sweet, banana, orange peel. Flavor citrus, yeast, spicy and a bit acidic. Starts sweet/light bitter and ends a acidic sweet. Thin/medium mouthfeel.
