Taste - like a malt bag. Some lemon and orange following it through though. Metallic finish.
Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - a bit dry and lacking in fruit. imdownthepub (14556) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2015
Bottled, 500ml from Tebay Services, Orton, Cumbria. Gold with white head. There is a surprisingly odd taste from the start with this beer, waxy, sour orange pith is the closes I could think of, bitter and fruity, really difficult to describe. The flavour continues throughout the beer, which was a shame as the malt is light and biscuity. Not great. allmyvinyl (10624) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle at Craig’s, cheers Niall! Pours pale gold, thin white head. Definitely sherbet-to-brett on the nose, which has thinned out the beer to something not recognisable as golden/blonde ale. Sour fruits taste. Probably not intentional. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Odd murky, odd visible carbonation, odd mealy head. Rusty sour lime. There’s so many failings here. Palate is engaged four a massive sour . Like pouring a packet of refreshers into a carton of milk on the window sill and giving it a good shake. Nonsense. And I managed to bring two of these back from Cumbria.Stuu666 (13433) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 7, 2014
