Bottle at the ISHA Marburg national drinks party. Poured a pale golden body. Light appley nose, glue. Watery, tangy taste, some apples and glue again. The acidity manages not to be excessive. Slightly perfumey and soapy apple notes. Ok I guess.
Sampled from 1 l bottle from local ’LIDL’. Clear, pale greenish yellow with a few white bubbles on top. Slightly sweetish, sourish and slightly fruity aroma of sour apples, some wood and hints of hay. Minimally sweetish, moderately sour, not overly fruity taste of sour apples, some wood and hints of pear, followed by a short, moderately tart, a bit woody finish. Thin body, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay! MichaelAwesome (6516) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2015
Laff, unspektakulär, dabei aber durchaus trinkbar mit etwas Apfel und Zitrone. Kein großer Apfelwein, aber durchaus brauchbar mit einem dünnen Hintergrund. Ganz ok. McTapps (6856) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2015
The Apfelwein has got a cllear light golden colour with no carbonation and thin body. Aroma of citric and unripe apples. Taste of unripe apples, citric, leaves and trees. Thin and sour finish. peponi (1842) - Hannover, GERMANY - MAR 25, 2014
Aroma: apple, sulfur.
Appearance: clear yellow-straw color.
Taste: sour apples, dry and slightly watery.
Palate: low body, medium carbonation.
Overall: Easy drinking sour cider from Germany -- something unexpected for me. Far far away from Gwatkin Cidres, but I must say that I didn’t have any expectations.
