(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a blond and tremendously huge foamy head, which makes it difficult to get the first sip. Yeasty and slightly sour citrus-fruity aroma with notes of pomelos, wheat and mild spicy notes. Slightly sour flavour with a tinge of malty sweetness and yeasty bitterness; light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty, slightly wheaty base with notes of citrus and yeast; dry and slim, sourish fruity finish with traces of herbal hops. Not a very complex but pretty refreshing Saison-like Belgian blond Ale. 09.III.10

Very pale golden, frothy head. Light herbal, pale, wheat. Typical Belgian but a cross between a wit and a blonde, so quite interesting. Drinkable although a bit watery body. It’s okay, better than feared. (33cl bottle at La Vaudree II)

BoBoChamp (5878) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAY 14, 2009
33cl, from the brewery, not complex brew, not balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nothing special
