Bottle from Drinkshop. Very clean and tasty brew. Dark brown colour. Overfoamed a bit at higher temperature but nothing tragic. Sweet but not out of balance. Full malty flavour with notes of caramel, toffee, honey, biscuity. Very good. Light dried fruits. Easy drinking with alcohol hidden well.

33 cl bottle at home. Pours unclear chestnut brown with low, fast diminishing tan head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, plum and even some coconut. Taste: medium sweetness with low to medium bitterness. A little salty taste. Notes of brown sugar and plums. Texture is sticky. Carbonation is average.

On tap, 25cL. @bar La Tireuse, Toulouse. Old memories there during my veterinary studies in "La Ville Rose". A beautiful red brown clear sparkling beer ; medium off-white head ; medium retention. Caramel, roast, herbs, sugar. Medium sweet, sugary, light to medium dry bitter. Just a little windy. Medium body, thin oily, average carbonation, short sweet herbal toffee finish. Overall, Ok amber belgian ale ; hoppy aroma, bitterness drown in heavy sweetness. I will taste the bottle version.

F: pale brown, thin, diminishing to thin film. C: dark brown, non-transparent. A: sweet malt, fruity, some milk chocolate, hints of alcohol, cherries. T: very malty sweet, fruity, plums, raisins, brown sugar, molasses, caramel, yeast, biscuits, medium body, average carbonation, a little overrated I think but still very good beer from that style.
