nearbeer (5636) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 13, 2017
33 cl. bottle with no date gushes like one of my early home brews. Aroma of tart dark cherry, red wine, prune, iron and dark toast. Flavors of red wine, dark cherry, lightly sour blackberry, prune and more red wine. Finish has some barrel. Medium-plus body leans winey, dry and sour, but still has a bit of stickiness. Medium-high carbonation is a bit explosive at times but seems appropriate.

mateuszk (2769) - Poznań, POLAND - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle. Pours almost black with beige head. Aroma is caramel, dark bread, dried fruits, wine. In taste sweet, fruity, vinous with herbal notes. Medium to high body, warming alcohol on aftertaste, bitterness is medium strenght and partially from alcohol. Not bad.

Mesjasz (1666) - Lodz, POLAND - NOV 3, 2015
Bottle. Strong gushing. Very dark cooper color, tan head. Aroma is red wine, funk, apple, hint of acidity. Taste is light sour and dry with moderate bitterness. Flavor of dark fruits, wine, caramel. Aftertaste is long, dry with hint of alcohol. Full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle at home. Gusher! Very dark brown, beige foamy head that nicely laces. Red wine vinous and fruity tones, roasted malty chocolate and coffee, cinnamon and other spices, alcohol is well hidden. Nicely balanced. Lingering fruity finish. Lively carbonation, good body.

20/06/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck.

matbli (492) - Poznan, POLAND - MAY 23, 2015
Bottle 330 ml, Strong gushing after opening the bottle, but luckily the beer is not rotten. Pours very dark bown, strongly sparkling with very high and pillowy beig head that remains for a very long time. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, red fruits, red wine, cherries, oak wood and some balsamico. In taste almost perfect balance and a full body with medium sweetness, light sourness and bitterness and a bit tart finish. I’m impressed.

Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, POLAND - MAY 21, 2015
Great balance and flavor. The beer is surprising. I didn’t expect so much wood, toffee, burned caramel, dark fruits like blackcurrant, grapes and some cheese. Flavor is medium sweet with chocolate and spices in the background. Some little acidity of fruits. Perfect balance between. Each sip has several layers. Well done.

Hermod (8416) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAY 16, 2015
33cl bottle, reads oak aged in red on label. No date. Pours near black with a huge light brown head, gusher! Strong anise, fennel aroma, ripe berries, oak, mild tartness alongside brown sugary sweetness. Flavor has sour red berries, (like lingonberries) , oak, tartness, licorice. Dry finish. Alcohol warmth. I so like the sour berry thing here. Hides the sweetness nicely. Very different from the original version. Oud bruinish.

minutemat (6132) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2015
330ml bottle, many thanks to JefVerstraete! Pours black / extremely dark brown with a bountiful foamy tan head. Aroma is slightly herbal and a touch sugary. Taste is espresso, plums, chocolate, raw liquorice, sugary marzipan and a noticeable vinous sour influence. Overly high carbonation. In all, taste seems a bit disjointed but not bad.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 18, 2015
Bottle at home. Not entirely sure, but presumably this version. Black pour, slight gusher. Aroma has balsamic vinegar, tannine, roasted malts, some ripe fruits and quite spicy. Flavor is bitter, roasted, slightly sour, smooth and with a very decent body. Quite lively carbonation.
