Piana obfita, trwała. Barwa słomkowo złota, opalizująca, z intensywnie unoszącymi się bąbelkami. W aromacie nuty triplowe, estrowo fenolowe z dominującą brzoskwinią oraz migdałem i koniakiem w tle. Smak słodki, głównie kandyzowana morela z marcepanem i ziołami, niezbyt wysoka, trawiasto szorstka goryczka, lekkie alkoholowe rozgrzewanie, wysokie wysycenie.
Mało wytrawny tripel, bardziej po deserowej stronie, może nie bucha waniliną i kokosem, aczkolwiek beczka zaznaczona, ogólnie ok.

Colore giallo, schiuma media compatta, torbida. Aromi di malto, crosta di pane. Al palato malto, agrumi, lime, lievissimi sentori lattici e note luppolate. Lieve carbonazione, corpo medio, gusto dolce e secco. Una birra in cui la stagionatura in botte e le note di rum non si è particolarmente sentita

330ml bottle pours tangerine with foamy off-white head. Pleasant tropical aromas of banana, mango, mandarin, yeast and spices. Tastes of yellow fruits, citus hops, candy sugar, floral characters, bread and alcohol. Not too much cognac character to speak of. Plenty of fruit and sugar to hide the 10% alc vol. Texture is smooth and creamy. Long sweet finish with very mild bitterness. A great balanced triplel despite the promises on the label.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 9/18 Looks the part - hazy orange gold body, holds a big solid thick creamy head leaving clumpy lace on its journey. Aroma packed full of spice - woody, savoury, pepper, clove, oaken toast, cereal malts, bread, apricot & pear esters. Lovely big creamy body, smooth, soft, some warmth but doesn't give away that substantial ABV too much. Esters come through more on the palate - peach, apricot, pear, apple, get a bit more barrel character - sort of toasty, that sort of vanillin caramel you get with Cognac, spices come through on the finish, drying an otherwise sweet palate out, lending a mild bitterness & touch of warmth. Rather yummy, without being as outstanding compared to many other barrel aged counterparts.
