Black brown with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, honey, licorice, chocolate, grapes and pine. Taste is sweet and medium bitter with a long finish. mjs (7768) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 2, 2015
(Bottle, 0.33 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had spices, soap and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, creamy toffee, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and sweet. A weird brew but rather good flavoured one. Aroma was strange. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 24, 2015

Pleasant brown, small tan head. Slightly dry roast burntness on the nose. Extremely dry palate, some nuttiness. Roasty, but harsh. Way too drying. Makes me thirsty ... but desiring something else.
330ml bottle @laiti’s, thanks. Cloudy, muddy dark brown color. Small size, beige head, disappears. Oranges, fruity, marmalade, roast, sweet, grapefruit in aroma. Malty, hop extract, sweet, licorice in taste. Sweet roasted malts and hops in aftertaste. Feels messy. Not really doing it for me. laiti (8531) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 13, 2015

Aroma has licorice, some grapefruity hops and licorice. Also some nettles. Flavour has licorice, nettles, some grapefruity tones and minerals. Also some cardboardy tones. Nice and drinkable but does not reach the top. Gets some unpleasant vegetable tones at the middle of the glass, most likely due to the hops.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, citrus, some exotic fruits, soft roast, very fruity, caramel. MF: soft to almost no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: hoppy start, some exotic fruits, soft roast, caramel, bit sugary, dried fruits. Aftertaste: some exotic fruits, alcohol burn, citrus, hoppy, some coffee, cocoa powder, balancing between a black ipa and a stout, this one. Very nice beer as well...
Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle. Fresh fruity-dark beginning. Dried plums, fresh malt, dried cherries. The body is malty but not too sticky, nice bitter-malty but sweetish-fresh aftertaste. Not too deep though. Nice fresh-dark-fruity and malty-bitter aftertaste. Round and smooth. Een licht-bittere imperial porter, lichte tonen van koffie, gebrande mout, kruidig. Dit vinden we terug zowel in geur als smaak. De nasmaak is licht-bitter en grassig. Lekkere Imp. Porter, maar had wat meer diepte kunnen hebben. age_jellema (97) - Hengelo, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2015
Very fine bitter and a touch of sweet. Dark, roasty, light, citrus, herbs. Could use a bit more body.
