Maakun's rating

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 12/20
Maakun (6744) - The Hague, - AUG 23, 2014
Slightly hazy light amber with medium white head. Insanely strong aroma of hops. Some more hops. Massive pine, soap, flowers, a strong chemical or skunky flavor like eating air freshener. Some light malts behind the massive hop onslaught too but not very noticeable. Light to medium bodied. This is more like eating hops drenched in soap or something, I love very hoppy beers but this is a bit too much for me, tastes a bit chemical. Not that great.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy light golden with a white head. Tropical fruit aroma and other American hops. Taste is bitter with some fruity hoppiness. Good APA.

bonkiedeaap (849) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2017
Bottle from a licor store in Hardinxveld, the Netherlands. The beer is hazy yellow/golden colored and has a large and stable white head, with good carbonation. The aroma is light malty and has notes of citrus, grass, flowers, pines, tropical fruits and some light spicy notes. The taste is light to medium bodied and light bitter with a nice fruitiness and goes to dry with notes of pines and spices. The finish is refreshingly dry and bitter. Very good brew!

Gaelic (208) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 9, 2017
Golde orange, white. Tones of tropical fruit, pines and some citrus. Pleasant bitter taste lasts long in mouth.
