Gitzwart, geen koolzuur en schuimkraag. Bij open van de fles ook geen geluid en rook. Botteldate zou zomaar 2014 kunnen zijn. Aroma: Vanille, donkere chocolade, donker geroosterde mouten, sterk koffie aroma. Smaak: Sterk geroosterde smaak, volle chocolade, vanille, rozijnen, licht zoetig en medium roasty bitter. De koffie komt vooral in de nasmaak goed naar voren. Iets alcohol warmte en iets droog / hout. Volle body, geen koolzuur, zacht, romig. Afdronk is roasty koffiebonen en droog. Ik mis wat activiteit.....desalniettemin wel lekker.

Bottle. Bought Aug 2015; BBE date not stated; Drank July 2016 - Opaque Dark Brown/Black in colour. Small creamy beige head. Good lacing. Very Malty; roasty malts, lots of coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, liquorice, toffee, oak wood. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins, dates. Spicy; peppery. Well balanced. Sweet bitter roast coffee and chocolate malty fruity spicy throughout. Dry roast malty finish. Nice coffee Impy Stout! (2016-07-30)

Flesje gekregen van Benzai. Zwart bier met stevig bruin schuim. In de 2de helft van de fles veel bezinksel. Aroma van koffie met een hint van pruimen. De smaak is veel koffie met in de verte het bittere van de hop. Lekker bier als je niet kan kiezen tussen koffie en bier.

Bottle, thanks Douberd. Opaque black liquid with medium to big tan head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, light green bell pepper, leather, raw sugar, red berries, espresso and light ash. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of coffee, licorice, light ash, bitter chocolate and raw sugar. Full bodied with medium carbonation. This great! Awesome coffee notes.

Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, strong coffee.
Taste: Very dark malt, roasted to burnt, quite strong coffee, oak. Lots going on. Very nice, though!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, bit of caramel, some chocolate, sweet and heavy smell. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, pretty sweet, sugary, caramel, some dried fruist. Aftertaste: pretty sweet, alcohol, coffee, caramel, sugary, some ripe banana, mocha.

Clear dark black - red brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, raisin, date, oak, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, sweet malt, date, raisin, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150814]
