Bottle. Bought Aug 2016; BBE date Nov 2016; Drank Nov 2016 - Opaque Black in colour. Large creamy beige head. Excellent lacing. Very Malty; roasty malts, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, liquorice, vanilla, oak, peat, smoke. Fruity; dark fruits. Hoppy; balancing hop bitterness. Sweet-bitter roast chocolate and coffee malty throughout. Increasingly bitter into burnt dry malty finish. Enjoyed this. Good Impy Stout! (2016-11-27)

rumore (484) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 7, 2016
From bottle. Pours a beautiful dark brown with practically no (cappuccino) foam. Aroma is rich, with licorice and dark chocolate, maybe a little coffee. Body is surprisingly light for a beer of 10.5°. Taste is a wonderful mix of sweet and bitter. You can’t feel the 80 IBU, as sweetness is slightly superior in intensity. Texture is sticky and the finish is long and some slight astringency. In summary, a great beer!
