Kaum Unterschiede zu jedwedem Pils der letzten Monate. Ein wenig Zitrus in der Nase verleiht dem Ganzen hier einen etwas erfrischenden Charakter, ansonsten ehrlich und geradeaus. Ok. McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2015
Bottle brought home from Franconia. The beer has got a clear golden colour with an airy head and medium to thin body. Aroma of bitterness and citrus fruits. Taste of old hops, light malt, citrus fruits, grass and grains. Mild bitter finish. Refreshing, yet thin. Average Pils. pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 12, 2014
Bottle: Golden, almost clear, quickly collapsing loose White foam; dryish pale-malty nose, some herbal hops detectable in the Background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish, some pale malt in the aftertaste. Not so bad, but more a Landbier than a Pils... MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 30, 2014
(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly doughy and bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, as well as notes of herbal and subtle fruity hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly bready and delicately sugary (cara-)malt character with a slightly herbal and subtle fruity hoppy background; sweet malty and delicately hop bitter finish, including shades of herbal spice and traces of citrus. Easy-going Pils, a tad too much on the sweet side. 14.IX.14

Bottle purchased at brewery, best by Apr. 2014, consumed Nov. 2013: Decent aroma of lemon zest, fresh pastry pils malt, breadcrust and minerals is marred slightly by a presence of DMS. Firm carbonation. Thin bodied. Brightly hoppy and nectary with proceeding peppery spice and well-pronounced herbality. Pleasant mineralic firmness provides a bit of grip which aids the thinnish body. Lemony hops gently lurk in the background, though much of their subtle tang is eclipsed by a note of DMS (lettuce). Moldy dish rag and a yeasty B-vitamin astringency further underscore the lack of cleanness. Sound malt structure exhibits some cookielike depth. Finished woodily hoppy and hay-dust malty with delicate lemony hops and some metallic flavors. Shows some promise, but ultimately the yeasty foulness renders this unenjoyable. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husky), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of egg, concrete, metal.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, very husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic.
Pretty clunky/dirty and husky. Very hard to enjoy. 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Fresh bottle from the brewery. Clear gold body with a short white head. Toast, lemon and spice, good expression of German noble hops. Mostly clean, light silt / chalk yeast character, quenching acids, baguette / sourdough notes develop as it opens. Good mineral content, gravel and mineral water and such. Decent enough lemon / floral hop vibrancy, though husky / grainy with some raw malt smells and minor accents of cigarette ash. Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a white head. Wet, pale malts and some fruits on the nose, some wet cardboard, but just notes. Dry, medium body, and a flavor of pale malts and some bitterness. Bitter, grainy finish. A rather boring one, but I guess it quenches the thirst nicely. 100813
