Bottle, 4.7%. OK citric malt aroma. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour has a good dusty maltiness. Some spicy hoppiness. Good mouthfeel. kappldav123 (6133) - GERMANY - JAN 3, 2015
Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty, more and more spicy. Light sourish background. Finish grasy-spicy, well balanced and quite drinkable. Not bad! bierkoning (13674) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2002
Slight malty aroma. Malty taste. Some apple, but very little hopbitterness. Clean, smooth and easy to drink. Not too thin. Well made session beer. MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 19, 2008
(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head, slowly lacing. Slightly sweet cara-malty, slightly nutty aroma with a whiff of honey and herbal hops. Light-bitter, slim bodied with a crispy carbonation. Soft cara-malty base with nutty and early arriving herbal hoppy accents; dry and moderately bitter finish with a light but present hops character. Nice and quaffable Franconian Landbier (16.04.08).

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden coloured, bigger, quite quickly collapsing head; moderate but spicy malty-caramelly nose with traces of nuts and a shy grassy hoppy background; moderate to distinctive sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, not watery at all; well rounded sweetish caramelly finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Pleasant, decent franconian quality....... downender (8882) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Bottle. Amber, with a thin, off-white, head. Very similar to the Vollbier drunk immediately before, with malts to the fore and perhaps a slightly more bitter finish. Good. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2009
