Bottle thanks to ErlangerNick. Prost. I guess this is the Marzen as this is labelled. Clear Brown amber colour lasting beige head. Some hop on the aroma. Some bread. Some orange fruit and seeetish fruit. Very good in the mouth my kind of beer. Toffee but dry and good peppery hop. Excellent Russo (2011) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - APR 6, 2015
Pour Amber color with a slightly off-white head that fade out slowly and do not keep a lacing. Aroma is bready and malty, notes of caramel and roasted malt. Flavor follows the aroma with some balanced bitterness and sweetness notes. Low carbonation in a medium body with a sweet bitterness finish.

(50cL bottle @ Hotel Volkspark, Bamberg. As Weihnachtsbock )
Rated as "Weihnachts-Festbier".
--> Klasse Bier! 14/13/14/14
Bottle says Märzen but I strongly suspect it’s the same beer. Design of the bottle is not my cup of tea but oh well.
Bright orange beer, durable, coarsely porous foam. Smells both malty and hoppy.
Light sweetness, medium bitterness in the beginning, bit of caramel malt aroma but stronger bread and roasty traits.
Full body, somewhat oily texture, a little bitter finish.

Orange-gelbe Farbe, geringe Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, süß, leicht getreidig. Geschmack leicht malzig süß, würzig. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 31, 2013
Bottled. Amber colour, small sightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is bread, some slight sweet malts, herbs and mild toasted maltiness to it. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance. This beer actually probably would suit a food table better, than just drinking it on it’s own. hawanna (3291) - Freising, GERMANY - DEC 18, 2012
0,5 l bottle. BB 02/13. Bottled as Weihnachts-Festbier
bread, herbs, earthy, dark amber color, clear, minimal head, tan foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, oily feel, slick feel, average carbonation, long finish, KickInChalice (860) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Poured from 500 mL bottle into a pint glass.
This beer has a slightly hazy amber color with a rosy pink center and crisp orange edges.
The aroma is yeast forward, with faint bread and caramel notes.
Each sip is very yeast forward and bready. Some caramel notes and rotten cherries and plums provide the sweetness, with some slightly acrid notes behind the maltiness.
It is light bodied, with carbonation that is more bubbly than crisp.
This is not a very good beer; it is much too yeasty, and there is nothing really going for it. kevnic2008 (11965) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - SEP 16, 2012
As Weihnachtsfestbier. Amber colour with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of dusty straw and sweet grain. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of grain.
