It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head, and initially the aroma has notes of vegetables, but luckily it moves on to malt, flower and bread. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, citrus, bread, flower and the finish is dry – quite refreshing. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 3, 2011

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, grain, hay, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled. Pale golden colour, mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is metallic, malty and that’s about it. Flavour is caramel malts, some sweetness as well as grass. Quite pleasant flavour, but the aroma is not too good.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color. Sweetish, flowery and metallic aroma with hint of fruity hops. Sweet, honeyish, flowery and toffeish flavor with dry metallic finish. Soft rounded palate with medium bitterness. This begs for more hops. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2003
Pours a small frothy head. Hoppy, maybe a bit soapy aroma. Firm hopbitter flavor that lingers on for a while. Hint of orange and a good maltiness, as in most Franconian pilseners. Quality pilsener, well balanced.
