Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Labeled only with bockbier but I think this is the right one. Pours clear Amber with a very small frothy beige head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and floral with dark bread, caramel, hay, moist soil, raisins and subtle hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty, floral and tiny metallic. Mouthfeel is soft, round, very tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with dark bread, caramel, toffee, hay, moist soil, minerals and hits of alcohol and iron. Solid malt backbone but a bit light and brought down with some iron in the taste. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 6, 2015

bottle from landbierparadies, thanks mowbeer. not sure it’s dark enough to be a dunkelbock but anyway, clear amber with a thin head clinging to the edge of the glass; aroma of red berry, menthol and woodchips; modest bitterness, some alcohol showing; pretty drinkable Beerhunter111 (20337) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2014
0.5l bottle. Clear amber body, white head. Aroma of grains, bread, toast and floral hops. Taste of grains and bread with a hint of toast and some fruity hops. It’s OK, but I think it could also have some caramel and dark fruit character to it.

Too watery / not enough aroma for a good Bockbier

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy amber beer. tidy cream coloured head. Nutty and creamy malt with a trace of dried fruits. Semi dry finish. Decent.
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2012 Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a fine, white foam head. Sugary bread nose, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor with tons of sugary caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with more caramel. Pretty one-dimensional, but I suppose that’s about all you can expect of most bocks. fonefan (48634) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2012
