33cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, mild caramelish malt, hints of nuts. Taste of toasted mald, mild sweetness, some caramel, okay!

Hell herber, mild getreidiger Antrunk. Weich würzig, etwas wässrig. Dann wiederum spritzig und leicht grasig. Ok. 10/7/8/8//8

Thank you, Kyle Durham, for bringing this back from Stuttgart. Clear golden amber with medium white head and spots of lace. Taste is light malt with touches of grass and biscuits. Mild hops finish things off beautifully. A simple brew that is satisfying to sip on a late spring afternoon. Good stuff!

Mariusz (12352) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAR 28, 2012
Amber colour. Aroma is malty with fruity, nuts and walnuts notes. Flavor is malty too with dried fruits and light caramel tones, ending in a moderately malty, dry finish. Medium bodied.

My friend brought this for me form where he used to live. Luckily it is the season already for this one. It is a tasty somewhat more robust maerzen than I usually try in Germany, at least I had it alongside the Paulaner O’fest.

pivnizub (10958) - Bochum, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2010
Bottle: Golden, smaller lacy white head, lazy carbonation; fresh herbal hops and honeyish pale malt in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; slightly lingering, robust hoppy and malty finish. A pleasant one.....

Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2010
bottle from Toom Aalen. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty nose. Malty with erbal hoppy accents. Well-balanced beer with a velvety palate.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a dense and small foamy white head. Doughy and strawy malty nose with subtle hints of citrus and a tinge of floral hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Straight malty taste, quite one-dimensional with a doughy touch and shy flowery hops; medium-dry pale malty and slight hoppy finish. A bit monotonous but clean brew. 21.V.10

ogivlado (8436) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottled(330ml). -Pale golden coloured, medium to small white head that went away fast, dry skunky nose. Moderate carbonation. Malty, light hoppy and flowery taste with metallic and discreet hoppy finish.

bierkoning (13893) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 21, 2008
Bottle. Pale golden color. Malty aroma with a hint of perfume. Malty flavor, flowery, hints of perfumed and pear. Fruity, but not really interesting.
