Bottle. Pours a light brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is yeast, dark fruit, pure sugar. Medium mouth, rye, light spice, boozy finish, good. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Large shared bottle.
Looks and smells great but the flavor is a bit of a mess. In fact, the flavor is more disappointing given the aroma than any beer I’ve had lately. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle shared at Crooked Stave, courtesy of Greg. Pour is clear mahogany with a small tan head and great lacing. Tangy, dark fruity, yeasty, bready, light pepper, and grapey aroma. Taste is light spice, cherry pit, grapes, toffee, caramel, light figs, and raisins with a light alcoholic burn on the backend. Full mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad. wisdomsolo (466) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 7, 2014

July Ale Alpharetta. Nose indicated this was going to be one sweet beer. taste verifies a super sweet , big chewy caramel malty, some ripe berries, spice, oak, brown sugar, hint of vanilla, bourbon and booze. GTAEgeek (2338) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 17, 2014
750 mL bottle from Ale Alpharetta. Pours a slightly hazy, reddish-orange, with a small beige head. The aroma is candy orange slices, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, and some light earthiness and some resin. Very sweet and malty, with a fairly significant savory spiciness. Heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. Overall, this is a big, boozy, malty beer. Not very subtle, but delicious, spicy, and thick. Cybercat (6017) - Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2014
Pours an appetizing clear mahogany with a thick, frothy, pale buff head. Strong, fruity aroma has a decided whisky overtone plus malty and woody notes. Lip-smacking flavor starts with fruity and whisky notes, then adds oak and subtle malty tones to the mix, finally tossing in a dash of hops. Texture is firm, smooth, and rather fizzy, leaving a finish that is fruity sweet but not cloying, and has a little kick of whisky at the very end. Breathe a little fire. jtclockwork (17100) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 12, 2014
