COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Western North Carolina take on the West Coast style IPA. Huge citrus hop aromas make this a Hop Heads dream. Its full body balances well with the bitterness and allows the drinker to enjoy its depth of hop flavors and aromas.

An IPA that favors balance above resious hoppiness. A nice mild pale malt character backs up every sip. This beer is softly carbonated and very creamy, sporting a large creamy white head with thick trails of lacing. Nutty and mildy floral with some light citus, but overall more earthy than many IPAs. A pleasant quaff.

12 oz bottle from a friend at Holden Beach. The ale poured a cloudy Amber with an off white head and lacing. You detect an aroma of floral hops and pine resin. Medium body ale has a nice hop bitterness with average to soft carbonation. The finish was dry with lingering bitterness in the upper mouth. A nice IPA but special.

Sharp hop flavor at the start. Mellows out quickly with a citrusy finish. Aroma is a little soapy, but doesnt affect taste. Hi-Wires session ale is my favorite from this Asheville brewery.

1/31/2016: Copper-gold color, clean complexion; juicy citrus aroma; punch of citrusy hops without the higher bitterness level of an IPA, caramel and bread crust maltiness along with some juicy, grassy, and resin hop flavors;crisp finish; really solid pale ale that I?d gladly drink if it were available in Ohio! Draught at Standard Pizza Co. in Asheville, NC.
