Strangely sweet bc of the banana, not a fan of the banana. Light beer, not heavy on the pallet, doesn't linger ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a nice big pop of banana. I don’t get much else but the banana is pretty awesome. Flavor is more banana with some wheat malt with a little vanilla at the end. This was a pretty true to the style beer. Just a no frills solid hefe.

Patrickctenchi (6693) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 21, 2016
Bottle: Mostly clear, yellow/gold with a small white head. Orange, clove, banana, grain aroma. Taste is slightly bitter wheat malt, orange, banana. Very juicy feeling...pretty decent.

Bottle. Orange-banana, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with with moderate head. Moderately sweet orange-banana, clove, light malt, and very mildly bitter hay flavor. Body on the lighter side. Pretty good but wish it had a bit more malt flavor.

Tap at Barley’s in Asheville. Pint glass. Light straw golden in color with minimal white head. Hazy, unfiltered appearance. Aroma has enough banana to remind you it’s a hefe. A little bit of the wheat characteristics as well. Taste is pretty run of the mill hefe with plenty of banana fruitiness and a healthy wheat bavkbone. Easy to drink and relatively refreshing. Nothing memorable here but very drinkable of you want to cheer on Golden State.

nearbeer (5562) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 24, 2016
12 oz. Foggy straw colored with a lasting disc of foam. Pleasant nose of spicy banana, caramel and crisp grass. Flavors are the same. Light body has more fizz than I like, but it’s per style. Crisp finish has a bit of tart apple and makes this one an excellent refresher in the warm weather we got today. One of the better American takes on the venerable style.

emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUN 4, 2015
Cloudy amber gold pour with two fingers of creamy white head. Nose is meh, creamy banana and peppery clove with a light tartness and bready note. Insipid flavor, peppery with some banana. Body almost bottoms out. Thin and spicy
