Pours pale. Aroma is absolutely wonderful. Loads of fall cider straight from the press. Flavor is fresh pressed Apple, nice pie spices to back it up. A very very tasty mead. Medium body. tchaos (428) - New York, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Pours a very pale honey color, similar light honey on the nose. Taste is sweet honey, but not cloying. Apple on the finish, with slight alcohol michaelinwa (656) - Bothell, Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours a light amber, with am aroma of honey and really just hints of apple. Flavor is sweet and the honey is up front with the apple in the background. Taste is nice, but the apple is not all the prominent or all that interesting, and the subtle complexities of some meads is missing. Finishes sweet but not sticky or overdone, with a mild alcohol burn. Nice, but I like their maple mead better. dwyerpg (6368) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Just a nice layer of honey in the aroma that isn’t too sweet but without any apples. The flavor isn’t quite as tasty as the aroma but it’s still nice. Easy to drink and doesn’t give you a headache. Looking forward to trying some of the others. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 21, 2013
750, corked and waxed. Thanks, Adam! These are all really solid. Pours a crystal clear pale gold. Nose has bright green apple acidity perfectly blended with a nice floral honey quality. Creamy medium body. The flavors work very well together here. Apples and honey create something new that’s a bit more than the sum of its parts. A little on the sweet side. Approachable and very easy to imagine drinking way too much of without realizing it if you’re in the mood for a dessert drink.
