22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and compelxity of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice single hop IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 19, 2013
On tap at hideout brew pub...hazy amber with a citrus aroma and a fruit and hop taste! Great IPA! esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2012
On tap at The Hideout Brewpub. Hazy amber with a thin white crown and patchy lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel and a hint of the woods. Taste is a bit more woodsy with caramel, grapefruit, fruity notes and a moderate bitter finish. coachd (837) - Missouri, USA - MAR 15, 2015
On tap at hideout brewing company. Great color, good aroma, albeit not a strong one. Tastes of fresh hops without a lot of malt getting in the way. I had not tried much of the zythos hop variety, it's a good overall hop. I recommend this beer and brewery if you're ever in the Grand Rapids area.

Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation and smooth texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew
