Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. Attractive looking clear darkish brown reddish beer with lasting beige head. Oooh yes now that is nice. Earthy fruity and bitter. Just what a strong English bitter should be like. Touch of choc on finish. Really good hedgerow fruits and earthy hops. Pretty good.

Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, keller, nutty, light to moderate hoppy, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, keller, caramel, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 
On gravity at the Beamish Hall Winter Festival. Amber with a cream head. Slightly sour with fruity notes. Nuttiness too. A fairly decent ale.
