UPDATED: JAN 4, 2012 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with off white head. Nose/taste of cracker, biscuit malts, honey and light hops and fruit. Medium body. Clean and crisp. Definitely in the top 5-10 lagers I’ve had in my life. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 27, 2012
22oz bottle from Louisville Beer Store in Louisville, KY. Pours a hazy copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fruity, grassy hops with a light caramel sweetness to the pale, bready malts. Some orange, peach, and lemon florals with a light spiciness. Flavor is similar. Fruity hops with grass and florals consisting of lemons, peaches, and oranges. A light grainy pale malt with a touch of bread before this finishes dry and fairly bitter with a nice earthy spiciness and lots of fruity florals. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a crisp and bitter lager with a nice spicy fruitiness to the hops. Enjoyable beer. UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 Bottle (22oz). Shared by blankboy with me, garthicus, GregClow and tupalev. Hazy amber, average off-white head. Funky-bitter, acidic aroma, underlying sweetness - pretty decent, actually. The taste is also very acidic, a hint of cherry ... and celery. Pretty average mouthfeel, lively, bitter in the finish, maybe a hint of lemon zest. Pretty solid stuff! VTHopHead (1511) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - DEC 20, 2008
Bomber - Poured a slightly cloudy dark amber in color with a foamy off-white head that settled to a thin covering over the top of the beer. Aroma is clearly hops... flowery with a hint of spice. Flavor is medium bitter with plenty of flowery hops. Finishes mildly bitter and is slightly sweet right at the very end. OK, not great... refreshing though. Tampa, Fl. - Whole Foods - 22 oz bomber - murky, dark golden pour with a nice sticky white head that leaves plenty of lacing - marked down a notch due to the overpowering head that would not go down. Pungent aroma with plenty of grassy goodness and some white grape frutiness. Crisp lager flavor with some mintiness, melon-like fruitiness and a touch of pepper. Full, crisp mouthfeel - great for a lager. harrisoni (18584) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2010
