Tasted on tap @ Ale House. Looks awesomely black with a bold brown head. Not much smell. Super thick & hardy taste. Similar consistency to an oatmeal stout but more robust. Can definitely taste the chocolate & for some reason the graham cracker flavor comes out. Good malty feel with a well blended alcohol element to round it out. Nothing really overly impressed me, but an interesting/innovative concept, nonetheless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler. Pours a still obsidian black. Smells of chocolate chips, leather, boozy fruit and burnt wood. Tastes booze and licorice forward, heavy on the dense gooey chocolate. Tastes like it'd be a higher percentage.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Purchased at Gerrard’s Market, Campfire Stout is a stout brewed with graham crackers and molasses by HighWater Brewing. The air of the beer packs a wallop of chocolate. An alcohol content of 6.5% is sensible and lightly tasted if you are keen to its sensation. The flavor of chocolate is dominate from start to finish. Molasses provides weight to the drink and gives a syrupy quality to the take. Graham cracker is tasted upon the mouthfeel and in the watery finish. Marshmallows are sensed with the chocolate and molasses, and yields a creaminess to the libation. Campfire Stout is a transportive chocolate stout. The concept of the beer is to capture a s’more into a drink. The beer takes me back to the last time I took a bite out of a s’more at a campfire with my family and friends gazing at a gorgeous star lit sky out in the desert. Campfire Stout is a delicious beer that will remind you of the campfire treat. I fully intend to have this beer at my side the next I go camping. Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer. I bought this beer at the pibar the last month with a good offer on this bottle. I drink this beer today at home with my wife during a Peruvian meal. Honestly, it is a really good stout, too sweet for me, even though a good one. Pouring this beautiful nectar, you get a pleasant dark body, typical for the style, white and brown foal, normal carbonation for the style. The first thing coming is the aroma, perfect smelling of chocolate, vanilla like candy. At the firsy sip, you observe that it is a sweet stout with roasted malt but there are huge tastes of chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, oak, some hop but it is discreet. I personally prefer the young's chocolate. At the final of this beer, the taste is more mineral, a good experience.

This beer is definitely sweet, but never quite becomes too much. Probably best shared, as a bomber is a bit too much. Don't get the smoke of a campfire but I'm sure that was i tentional, certainly more a sweet s'more feel.

Deep dark brown hue under a thin light beige head. Magnificent aroma of toasted marshmallow and milk chocolate and light graham cracker sweetness with a touch of molasses. Big palate and full body with a complex flavor of molasses and chocolate and booze warmth and marshmallow creaminess.

On tap. Deep black pour with a frothy foamy brown head. Aroma of graham cracker, bitter chocolate and faint smoke. Very drinkable with a slight dry finish.

Dark black. Drank around campfire at the farm. Thick dark bittersweet chocolate and marshmellows. Tastes like a smore. Excellent.
