COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Logic Imperial IPA is brewed for the true “hop head.” The nose bursts with fresh hop aromas while the palate is balanced with just enough bitterness to linger without overwhelming the more subtle among the hops flavors. The winning equation is — five quality malts plus five flavorful hops equals one fine beer! Sounds logical to us.

Draft at Uber in Seattle. Fresh, crisp yellow with big white foam. Very smooth, balanced and tart dipa. Hides alc very well. Fresh ginger, green hop, slight bitter. Very well balanced

Cloudy orange pour. Tropical fruits and citrus hops on the nose. Nice and hop-forward. Some sweetness to counter, but it definitely lets the hops shine. All the same, it covers the alcohol really well. Really nice one.

Bomber from world beers. Pours a nice light amber. Scent is nice and hoppy. Taste is as well. Along with some grapefruit and caramel. Good beer.

worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2014
Dec 20th tasting at Deans. Medium amber with a thin, white, lacy lasting head. Smells like citrus, pine and grassy hops with pale malt and a bit of astringent elements. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet taste of juice with caramel and a bitter citrus grapefruit, dry finish, decent IPA.

Was a bit disappointed with this, very bitter hops, slight aroma but other than that not much.

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2014
Poured medium amber with a small off white head. Aroma of soft malt and floral oily hops. Medium body, flavour is much as the aroma, grass and pine, quite bitter finish.

SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Clear copper with a large cream white head, good retention and lace. Sweet tropical fruits, light white bread, biscuit, warming. Not too heavy, oily texture, soft carbonation. Clean, soft on the palate and not aggressive or over the top. Lingering hop notes in a light bitter and dry finish. Value for money.

Yorker (2007) - Herning, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2013
65 cl bottle @ home. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are peach, pine, citrus, and caramel – with a bitter finish.

Very solid imperial IPA from High Water, who are generally right-on when it comes to IPAs. A little more dank and even nutty than it was fruity or grainy. I’d probably have to go elsewhere for my next big IPA, but thankfully that’s not a problem, is it?
