On tap at City Beer. It pours clear golden with an off white head. The aroma is a nice, classic balance of grapefruit, sweet mango, papaya and a hint of pine. The flavor has a lot more bitter pine and grapefruit. Spicy, dank hops as well. Extremely bitter and pretty dry for a big IIPA. The finish goes on forever. I actually thought this was a bit heavy on the bittering hops. It made for a tough drinking experience, even though the hop complexity was off the charts. Another winner from High Water and OBC. Just dial down the bitterness a tad :p marcus (10867) - Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 6, 2013
On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours cloudy amber with a pretty off-white head and a magnificent citrus aroma .There is a delicious caramel malt flavor with a heavy dose of hop bitterness. As usual for this brewery, all the tastes blend nicely. oRos (1674) - sacramento, California, USA - JAN 6, 2013
