RBESG pt 19. Craft Clerkenwell. Grandish Tasting. Thanks to Leighton for this rarity. Bottle No.2. Hazy red - amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles. Smooth dry caramel malts. Good mellow fruity bourbon, tangy. Spice. Mild vanilla oak. Light dry finish. Sweet and spicy bourbon aftertaste. Tasty.
Bottle at RBESG; dark chestnut pour with thin white head, boozy aroma, taste is sweet with traces of Whisky, dark fruits a bit boozy for me. Ferris (15013) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle - Bourbon barrel, vanilla and a creamy caramel. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Boozy bourbon, caramel and mellow notes. Although boozy, not as crazy rich and unbalanced as others.

Thanks to bman1113vr for sharing this bottle. Bottle 48 of 216. Red-amber pour with a few bubbles but no real head. The aroma is full of caramel and toffee with some bourbon whiskey notes. The flavor is full of rich bourbon qualities with some chocolate, oak, vanilla, maple and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Bottle shared by Dr. moll. You da mang!
The beer appears caramel brown with no head. The aroma is quite nice. Booze and toffee with a touch of chocolate. The flavor follows suit. Devoid of carbonation. Silky smooth on the palate, bu could use at least a prickle of carbonation to liven up the palate. Nice caramel and toffee notes. Oak and bourbon character is assertive throughout. Pretty good. radagast83 (8011) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Poured a hazy brown color without much, if any head to speak of. Aroma is some barrel notes, woody character, vanilla note. Flavor is smooth, but boozy notes of alcohol. Some toffee.
