cask at some london festival in a very nice building ... hazy amber ... thin white head ... oft musty grassy toffee nose ... zezty orange ... very custardy ... and sadly somethoing odd

Unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, apple, frosty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, yeasty, caramel, hay - straw. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask/GD at the 14th Egham Beer Festival at the EUSC, 28/03/13.
Hazed golden amber with a thin white head that clears to the edge leaving a thin film.
Nose is a little raw, hop pellets, grain, barley.
Taste comprises caramel, barley, light soap, sugars, touch of hops.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish.
Drinkable but a little bland.
