22 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Raleigh (Brier Creek location). Muddy brownish-orange pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of apricot, fig, brown sugar, and peach syrup. The flavors feature tangerine and peach upfront with some malty sweetness and a hint of oak on the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit thin considering what this is but the moderate alcohol warmth is just as expected. 22 oz bottle. Hazy brown with some beige froth. Nose is dates, figs, caramel and a touch of citrus. Thick and resiny with buzzy carb. Taste is cherry, blackberry and toffee but not overly sweet. Dry woody finish with an earthy, pithy bitterness. Creative brew, i rather liked it.

Bottle at Ryan’s hotel room tasting after session one of EBF in Boston. Pours a hazy light brown with a thin white head. Vinyl, plastic, smells like a kiddy pool. Tastes like it smells, gross oxidized, and full of plastic. Bitter finish.
