Grain and bread malts, some caramel and toffee, light floral notes. Clear amber, small, frothy, white head. Light sweet. Grain malts continue, sweet, dark fruits, light citrus as well. Quite a nice ESB, well-balanced. Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. nihtila (3912) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2016

Cask at the Hanging Bat. Pours amber with a thick white head. Aromas of toffee, dried fruit. Taste is light sweet and a little thin. Nice in a traditional kind of way. AshtonMcCobb (6916) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2013
On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap.
Appearance - slightly off blonde towards amber with a nicely proportioned head.
Nose - really lovely, pine going into almost lavender. Some resin in the background.
Taste - toffee, fresh herbs going into a citrus/pine finish.
Palate - light to medium in body, a creamy texture and a long clean finish.
Overall - stunning nose, well balanced. SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2013

black country arms, walsall. Pump clip stated Swannay Ale 9. Golden beer with medium head and decent lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits and dry hops. Taste is a little pine resin, dry hops and peaches. Decent.
Bright golden body, slight haze, fluffy head that dissapates a little holding firm at the edges. Blast of tight back citrus hop with a loose white spirit tinge on the nose. Big sledge of juicy lime grit on the initial taste. Teeth polishingly resinous but a fine dance of moreish refreshment on the rest of the palate evens things out. Dry grainy linger in the final third keeps things ticking over nicely. My favourite Highland since Scapa?downender (8891) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2013
