Draft during RBWG tour. Pours dark brown to black with a medium sized khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, char, spicy notes, vanilla, coffee. Solid, but I would like another shot at this one under different conditions. dmac (6341) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - FEB 19, 2014
Draft during the RBWG bus tour. Poured a pitch black body under a smaller frothy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of coffee, barrel, vanilla beans, whiskey, dark toast, burnt malts. On tap. Pours a deep brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an interesting combination of coffee, barrel and dark grains with a bit of a booze bite. Flavor is similar with coffee up front but a weird finish of acidic dark grains.

Snifter pour at the Brass Tap, pours a dark brown, almost black color, aromas of lighht coffee, vanilla, oak and some malt. Flavors are oaky up front, light ash, no bourbon, and some light roast. Nice beer overall. As I burp I get a lot of vanilla coke.
