Bottle, purchased at Sam’s in Durham, NC. Pours cloudy, orange/yellow, with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, bread, and yeast. Flavor is similar, with cereal, and grain, lemon. Finish is soft, little bitterness. My wife will love this beer. jwatkins56550 (17) - USA - JUL 31, 2008
I must note that I did drink a brooklyn lager before drinking this, and this beer was served at warmer temperatures. This beer is a summer beer for sure! Light and creamy with a slight spice from the rye. Not much to offer however. Has a slight lemon with a small biscuit and caramel malt nose. Body is thin, without many dimensions. Very ordinary beer flavor, IE tastes like a budweiser to me. Not one I’ll opt for again. Magjayran (1378) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Golden orange color with a pretty big white head. Very lemony in the nose. Like it’s hard to get much else when you sniff. There’s a surprising rye kick in there that wasn’t a surprise anymore once I read the bottle. I didn’t like the rye so much but there’s a decent american wheat beer lurking in there. durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2008 Bottle. Bright deep hazy gold with thin head. Looks quite appealing. Lemony wheat and mild yeast on the nose, more on the palate. Nice sour promise on the nose, but ultimately more wheaty. The hibiscus notes turn me off a bit. If this were a bit more sour and had a slightly more full palate, I could really love this beer. zappafan99 (463) - ASCENSION ISLAND - JUL 19, 2008

Bottle born on June 28, 2008. Pours a very cloudy gold with a white fizzy head. hm. I’m not too fond of the aroma on this one, it’s very rough and doughy with lots of "generic beer". I notice some papery hops and herbs as well. The mouhtfeel is pretty good, not too light but serviceable as a thirst quencher. The flavor is ever slightly tart, slightly floral with low bitterness and a predominate grainy and doughy character. I’m not too crazy about this, it’s a rather formulatic American wheat beer though slightly more flavorful with small unique nuances. It’s just not my thing. Bottle at soul infusion. aroma is malty and wheaty. Body is thin and clean. Great beer for the summer TikiE (368) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2008
Bottled at Soul Infusion: Smells of malts and wheat. Has a heavy wheat taste that is great for summertime. Pours a yellow color that shows yeast! demdeac40 (299) - Etowah, North Carolina, USA - JUL 7, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2008 Pours very cloudy, looks almost viscous in the glass. Light on the nose, a little citrus and some slight spice. Seems a little light on flavor also. Finishes crisp and would be a good summer beer. Just seems to be lacking some personality. A little fruit on the back but missing something. wcampbell (721) - Clemson, South Carolina, USA - JUL 7, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2009 A good wheat ale. Very light clear color. Looked watery but the taste was not watery at all. Spicy wheat taste. Lightly bitter finish was perfect. Well balanced beer. Highly drinkable and refreshing.
