COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clawhammer Oktoberfest is a lightly colored, but toasty, rich and full bodied Marzen style lager, brewed with traditional German malt and the finest noble hops. A spicy hop finish and aroma balance out the abundance of malt flavor. Clawhammer means pure high-country enjoyment!

Better than old ipas. Caramel, nutty, light hay. Moderately sweet and bready lager without much depth. Kind of decent i suppose.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with white head. Caramel, metallic, toast aromas. Caramel, bread, toast, slight metallic, malty flavors. Eh

Highland Clawhammer Oktoberfest is not the best in style, but it is not bad for a sessionable seasonal. Light malty aroma with light sweetness rising from an orange translucent pour with a head that fades too quickly. Taste is well balanced and not real bold with a light sweetness, malt notes and little spice. Clawhammer is a session beer that goes well with food, but not real special sample of the season.

It is good and easy to drink but its nothing special. Still a descent marzen but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Nice and quite refreshing. Not much to say but it was well brewed. Easy to drink and nice aroma.

Bottle gifted from friends. Thanks Mike and Andrea. Aromas are bread, caramel, grass, iron, copper. Pours a rusty orange. Flavor is bready with a metallic twang to it. It’s not offensive but it seems to be the first thing my mind thought of when drinking this. Overall it’s a good brew.

Pretty solid marzen. Copper colored. Sweet caramel and toffee aroma. Some spicy hops come through in taste, but dominated but sweet and bready malts. Easy drinking.

Poured from bottle into shaker. Pours a very light orange with a 2 finger head. Head dissipates to a thin skim fairly quickly. Aroma - light aroma, but malt and spicy hops present. Taste is very malty, no real hop character. One note really, lots of caramel and toffee notes.

Brown pour with minimal head. Toast, malt, bread, caramel. Generally sweet. Big body, slam able. Everything a marzen should be.
