Pours a beautiful radiant amber topped with a foamy white head which lingers nicely. The aroma is toasted grains, some hay and herbs. Tastewise, juicy sweet maltiness with a slight toasted edge and toffee combine with a gentle bitterness to make a very drinkable and delicious beer. Medium bodied and moreish! tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 24, 2011
Bottle. Another great beer for Highland. Pours an dark orange-amber-copper color with a decent head and great lace.. Taste is more floral-hops then most marzen style beers. Aroma is a malty, spicy, floral with slight nuts. Good stuff. adavis234 (287) - Charleston, South Carolina, USA - SEP 23, 2011
Bottle. Pours a copper-straw color with a medium off-white head. Flavor is quite good. Good, spiced malts dominate with hints of toasty caramel. Very good for the style, but I’ve always been partial to Highland. joshmod (20) - North Carolina, USA - SEP 19, 2011
Nice bit of orange in the aroma with the maltiness. Taste and palate are on the weak side and it doesn’t hit the maltiness that a Marzen should be getting at in my opinion. Fun beer to drink though especially for an early go at Marzens. beerme31 (685) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear golden thin white head. Mild aroma, caramel, bread, and nutmeg. Flavor is light sweetness and light spice. Light body, mild bitter spice finish. Easy to drink, OK overall.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of sincereNC. Clear pale amber with a rough off-white head. Sweet malty nose, a very clean maltiness. Medium body, intensely malty sweet but never sticky. A little flowery hops but hardly any bitterness. Nice and close to style. 150311
