COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clawhammer Oktoberfest is a lightly colored, but toasty, rich and full bodied Marzen style lager, brewed with traditional German malt and the finest noble hops. A spicy hop finish and aroma balance out the abundance of malt flavor. Clawhammer means pure high-country enjoyment!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a lighter note of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw.

Beautiful copper pour with no head or carbonation. Very little flavor and leaves an aftertaste of dirty socks. These guys need to step up their game.

bottle. clear pale orange white small head. the typical nose for the style: light toasted malt with a floral stamp. flavor is, again, malty but the noble hops add a good limey zing to the finish. a very "pilsy" oktoberfest. light to medium body and smooth. a lighter but tasty version of the style.

Pours a beautiful radiant amber topped with a foamy white head which lingers nicely. The aroma is toasted grains, some hay and herbs. Tastewise, juicy sweet maltiness with a slight toasted edge and toffee combine with a gentle bitterness to make a very drinkable and delicious beer. Medium bodied and moreish!

Bottle. Another great beer for Highland. Pours an dark orange-amber-copper color with a decent head and great lace.. Taste is more floral-hops then most marzen style beers. Aroma is a malty, spicy, floral with slight nuts. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a copper-straw color with a medium off-white head. Flavor is quite good. Good, spiced malts dominate with hints of toasty caramel. Very good for the style, but I’ve always been partial to Highland.

Nice bit of orange in the aroma with the maltiness. Taste and palate are on the weak side and it doesn’t hit the maltiness that a Marzen should be getting at in my opinion. Fun beer to drink though especially for an early go at Marzens.
