22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear amber/caramel color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, vanilla, hazelnut, light spices with a mild earthy bitterness. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2009

22 oz. bottle from emacgee- thanks, Ethan! Pours a clear, deep reddish-brown with a big, rocky beige head that leaves a good amount of lace. Aroma of sweet malts, toasted sugar, some mild spices, and faint grassy notes. The flavor just has a ton of malt character, caramel, toast, brown sugar, cereal, and just a wee bit of fruit. Medium-bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Pretty nice, and the spices take a back seat to the malts. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - DEC 14, 2008
Tap at Trappeze in Athens.
Pours amber with tan head.
Aroma is very sweet, sugary and almost gives this nice syrupy.
Taste, amazing, nice caramel malts and chocolate with notes of fruits and licorice which gives a very sweet mouthfeel with faint touch of spices and cinnamon.
Finish is lightly hoppy. Thick on the palate leaving a fruity & syrupy aftertaste.

651mL. Poured a clear reddish amber. Medium tan foam with no retention or lacing. Richer maple and brown sugar nose, starting off as a barleywine. Taste is bland- lemon tea, mild maple and brown sugar, somewhat tart actually. Citric acid bite in finish.

My Bottom Line:DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Caramel and vanilla cookies cherish the cherries, delicate roastiness and dessert spiciness which garnish them. This is a valiant spicy ale for sweet teeth.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the clear burgundy.
-Spicy, herbal hoppiness finishes alongside clovey amusement.
-The chosen spices are well integrated.
-Even though it’s on the sweet side of things, it remains a fine winter warmer to accompany a meal.
22oz bottle, shared by Tmoney99 at his 10K tasting. Bottled 11/09/13. Mostly clear red orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent lace. Clear orange color, mostly. Thin off-white head, leaves good lace. Good, smooth, creamy carbonation. Lightly creamy texture. Bigger body. Good bready malt, lightly spicy. Moderate sweet taste. Very nice, smooth, easy-drinking winter ale. Not overly sweet like some of these can be. Nice graham cracker, vanilla aromas. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2008
Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this one. Amber beer with a toasty aroma. Quite rich and caramelly. Toasted malts with a bit of spice over an unusual animal cracker/graham cracker sweetness. A bit of cinnamon and nutmeg. Good aroma, but the spices come across quite astringent on the palate. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 8, 2010
[2640-20091205] 22floz bottle. A little white chocolate powdery cocoa. Clear, red amber body with a quick bubbly white head. White chocolate sweet malt hints continue in the flavour with a nice, subtle general chocolate malt and sweetness. Medium body. Really interesting, white chocolate is surprisingly prevalent, and there are some odd toasted characteristics going on too. douglas88 (9188) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 26, 2009
22 ounce bottle thanks to Brent. Pours a dark beige color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet nutty notes, light malts and spices. The flavor is similar; a smooth and crisp flavor of nutty and sweet malty flavors, light spices. Easygoing and flavor-filled.
