Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a thin spotty layer of off white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, malts, pine, and hops. morrdt (715) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2015
12 ounce bottle from a six pack, purchased at the local Harris Teeter here in Huntersville, NC. Pours a reddish copper color with a thin head. Aroma is lightly hoppy. Taste is slightly butter with some hop notes. Lightly bitter finish as well. Just an average IPA in my opinion, nothing too special about this. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - SEP 17, 2014
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- heavy malt with some hops, not my preferred aroma
Appearance- Clear dark copper color, small off-white head
Taste- heavy malt and bread flavor, did not care for this at all
Palate- Medium to light body with light carbonation.
Overall- Did not care for this beer at all, after the pour the appearance had me expecting something awesome, that wasn’t the case.

Flowery and piney aroma. Holds head really long and well. Taste has no malt backbone.. Strictly piney hops. No caramel or malt to this beer. Palate is light and dry. Itzjerm (3074) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Light hop on nose medium body. A bit hoppy bitterness on the tongue. A very average ipa. Nice red color. Decent flavor.

Draft sample. Poured a clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met. b3shine (9073) - Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Draft to pint from Ei8ht Ball. Looks decent; malty though. A mostly transparent dark burnt orange with foamy off-white head. Smells malty and mildly hoppy with a touch of soap. Tastes like it smells with a decent mouthfeel. Average at best, and grandpa’s IPA. nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Ok IPA but I was expecting a little more. Good looking but punch it more with dry hops and more rye. Good not great. Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 5, 2014
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours copper, dry toffee, sweet, light bitterness, light fruit. jgb9348 (6438) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Rich deep copper and light brown coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall tan head - quite dark for the style, but still looks good. Aroma of nuts, earth, caramel, toffee along with some earthier and nuttier hops - seemingly of East Kent or German origins. Medium-bodied; Assertive floral and toffee flavours at first with a hit of hops right at the beginning and a finish of malt, earth and caramelised sugars and not much else. Aftertaste shows a lighter taste of raisins, grapefruit, pine and more earth, but still not much character around the malt - more hoppy than anything, but not overly complex or flavourful. Overall, a decent IPA that has it’s moments, but given my good experience with this brewery, I was expecting and hoping for more, but this fell short. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 09-March-2014 for US$2.39 sampled at home in Washington on 03-June-2014.
