Tallahassee, Fl - at drowland’s 7/7/12 going away tasting party - thanks to Robert. Black as coal pour, thick khaki colored head. Aroma of kid’s cereal, some burnt roasted notes. Flavor has some chocolate notes, chicory coffee, some creosote. Hints of raisins and dates in the back end. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Aged somewhat and is leaning more towards a barley wine in my opinion. drowland (8827) - Georgia, USA - JUL 7, 2012
