Cloudy, dark caramel/orange/amber pour, very light beige head is thin and slowly receding. Lacing is intermingled dots and arcs. Looks very oily. Lactic acidity is strong coming off the foam in the initial nosing. Fresh hops are such an interesting display; notes of banana, strawberry, orange, berries, light pine and resin. Malt is very fresh, barley overrunning the aroma in an exciting way. This is incredibly interesting. The flavor is just as strange as the nose, though it’s more focused and bitterness crowds the nonconfoming nuances into the corner. Bitterness is medium-high, resiny and fruity and piney. Malt is loaded with semi-sweet yogurt and lightly toasted grains. Hops collide with sweet sugars in a twisted finish. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied, lightly and softly carbonated, moderately smooth. Weird acidophilus brew, what? Hoss (607) - Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2007
A decent IPA but is it a double? Had most of the standard flavors , I did not find the alcohol oppressing. Odeed (1805) - Bakersfield, California, USA - NOV 14, 2007
murky bronze in color with a creamy whit head that laves no traces on the glass as it settles.aroma is of cotton candy, oranges, caramel malts, and juicy fruit gum.the flavor boasts much of the same.this really tastes more like a barley wine to me.i wonder how old this bottle is? jake65 (3946) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - NOV 28, 2007
Bottle: Pours a nice copper color with a small beige head. Aroma of malts and fruitiness, moderate on the hops. Flavor is more malty sweet and floral hops. A good offering in the I2PA arena. italianjohn (3163) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2013
Pale golden orange pour with a thin soapy white head and light sticky lacing ... aroma of grapefruits and caramel malts .... taste is of grapefruits, caramel malts and a nice kick of bitter and pungent hops ..... lightly floral with a bitterness that lingers .... mouthfeel is a little slick and oily .... finish is dry with a nice long lingering spicy hop bite .... solid and the abv is hidden well

Amber colored pour. Small white head. Plenty of lacing. Malty caramel aroma. Taste is the same, with a slight alcohol bite and a light bitter note. Not bad.

5/28/13. 22oz bomber from Grassroots. I was excited to see this come back after a couple of years! Amber pour with a small khaki head. Mostly this was dank, resinous, and a bit caramelly and malty. I’m thinking by the time it hit Jacksonville it may have been a touch old. AndyW68 (1557) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 17, 2013

Flaske, hos Yespr. Let uklar, gylden med et lavt hvidt skum. Sødlig, frugtig og ret krydret aroma. Fyldig, klistret, bitter-sød. Karamel. Krydret, bitter finish. Lang.
