A hazy orange beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is lightly hoppy combined with light notes of oranges. The flavor is very grassy and with a dry bitter end, but I find the body a bit thin. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2009

Bottle, July 2006. Amber colour. Quite floral aroma. The usual resinous, piney US hops are joined by herbaceous, grassy, nettley character that makes it a little different to many US IPAs I’ve tried. I wouldn’t call the hop character particularly aggressive - rather smooth and quite easy drinking, but not short of grip and nicely balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle split at RBWG ’15 hotel lobby share on the final night, from a bottle shop in Asheville, 21/02/15.
Golden with a decent light beige cap.
Nose is pale malt, caramel, straw, orange.
Taste comprises toasted bread, caramel, orange pith, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness.
A rather pedestrian IPA which delivers little. Oakes (18794) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2009
Hazy murky beige. Somewhat earthy aroma. Very earthy palate, chewy with canned mushrooms and oxidized hops. Hrm, not sure I like this.
