COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.

Appearance: Pale and golden - but not too pale as to look like lager.
Nose: Lemony citrus hops with a hint of grapefruit and spicy, peppery goldings.
Palate: Full on hops – styrian goldings to the fore, goldings giving a balanced middle and finally the rich malty fullness of maris otter as a backbone. The finish is refreshing with hops that become dryer if the cask lasts long enough!
Summary: A modern IPA, not overly bitter but still nicely ‘hoppy’ and at 4.8%, just about a session IPA for a sensible night’s drinking. The hop profile is nothing short of stunning.

Piepenhenrich (1198) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2017
Handpulled in the Ferry Inn, Stromness, Orkney, Scotland. Pours golden with creamy head. Has a nice balance of light malty fruity and hoppy flavors. Hops is not that much in focus like I would expect from an IPA. It's more like a reasonably hoppy, easy to drink ale. Good, though.

From bottle at OSB påslutning at TO's 16.09.17. Clear orange golden. Off-white head. Aroma of fruits and pale malt. Similar taste, with evident hops and bitterness. More like a golden ale than an IPA.

Derbeth (1023) - Kraków, POLAND - FEB 1, 2017
Bottle. Golden colour, cloudy, minimal head. Aroma is mostly herbal hops, also some pine and citrus - definitely an English, not American character. Medium bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. Good.

Bottle. Lots of zesty citrus notes, medium body, biscuits, medium strong herbal bitterness. Simple, straightforward thirstquencher. Very good.

Dark yellow color and a white head. Light malt flavor and hops. Aroma is also light. Smooth, delicate flavor. On the sweet side, dry, bitter hops initially, then some fruit and the hops are there in back. Good session ipa.

theprof (1149) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2016
Cask. Aroma mildly grapefruit and floral hops. Pours pale amber. Thin top broken fading lacing. Tastes pleasantly of Maris Otter and so many brewers talk of ingredients and then bury them. This one does what it promises and delivers a session IPA.

MrTipple (6000) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2016
Intense grain and bread malts, floral hops. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Grain and cereal malts continue, intensifying floral hops, some citrus fruits, bitter finish. OK ’English-style’ IPA, but nothing too spectacular. Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico.
