6 pack for 9.49. I’ve been waiting for this one all year. Pours black with a slight amber hue to it and a tan head. Really nice looking porter. Smells like coffee and a little roasted malt as well. Taste is pretty much the same; coffee and roasted malts. Body is medium, a little thinner than I like though. I won’t hold it against this beer simply because of how good it is. Definitely worth the wait. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 28, 2013

November 2012. From bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Coffee, chocolate, spice and roasted malt aromas. Coffee shows well throughout with the spice. Bitter hops on the finish. foyle (425) - Wyoming, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Appearance: ½” creamy off white head, beer is nearly black—almost no light penetration. No carbonation bubbles visible.
Aroma: Coffee, Roasted Barley, Dark Chocolate
Mouthfeel: medium to heavy bodied, moderately carbonated, rich, finish is similar to dark coffee.
Flavor: A coffee infused porter that tastes exactly as advertised. Coffee/Expresso is the dominant flavor. In addition there is some chocolate malt, toffee, and a mild hop presence. I don’t pick up a great deal of fruit flavors as the brewer advertises, maybe some orange peel and a little raisin.
Overall: very good cold weather beer, I would not be able to down this one in Summer. A give this beer a solid A grade for the style.

Bottle courtesy of ygtbsm94. Earthy-peaty-nutty coffee and some light chocolate aroma. Black brown with a large brown head, nice creamy lacing. Roasty coffee, earthy peat, light ash and slightly acidic flavor. Body on the light side of medium, moderate carbonation. Very nice. Crispy34 (496) - Texas, USA - JUN 29, 2013

Bottle. Black colored pour with a tan head. Smell is huge on coffee and malts, little bit of chocolate and hops present too. Taste is bitter and like drinking coffee. After the initial shock it gets pretty smooth. Good beer, I buy it occasionally. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 18, 2013
12 oz bottle served in snifter. Pours with almost no head, although a thin ring and some lacing last for many minutes. Opaque, clear; dark brown.
Aroma of coffee, dark malts and noble hops, in that order of strength. Taste largely follows, although dark roasted malts are more evident in the flavor. While the aroma suggest espresso, the flavor is medium roast coffee; a load of coffee flavor nonetheless. Excellent level of mild bitterness; nice use of hops to provide a shade of spicy flavoring in this malty/coffee mix. Fine finish and lingering aftertaste.
M: a bit under-carbonated; near medium body; slightly dry finish.
O: a fine, dark coffee beer with a bit more coffee than malt flavor and aroma.
