Bottle during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15, did I bring this one ? If not thanks to whomever.
Black with a decent tan covering.
Nose is coffee grinds, chocolate, roast malt, toffee, light spice.
Taste comprises rich roasted vibes, chocolate malt, spice, molasses, strokes of tarte fruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent coffee lead porter. mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 27, 2012
12 oz. bottle, sent from TURDFERGUSON (thanks Sam), pours a deep dark amber / near-black with a small tan head. Nose is all coffee, with freshly brewed french press coffee, and not a whole lot else. Flavour brings out deep, dark roasted coffee beans, no roast or chocolate character in there, just the coffee. Light-to-medium bodied, as one would expect from a porter. A monolithic coffee bomb here, executed very well. Good for what it is. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 27, 2015

Pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Definitely a lot of coffee on the aroma. Also a fair amount of sugar with a soft spice quality. A bit of dark chocolate and some roasted malts as well. The coffee comes through on the palate, as does the coffee and roasted malt. There seems to be a hint of vanilla sweetness on the back end of the flavor and there is just a little bit of bitterness, too. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2012
Bottle shared at RBWG 2012. Pours a dark brown with a small off white head. The aroma is a strong roast and coffee. Medium mouthfeel with a roadsted coffed with a nice spicey finish. A very good porter from Highland. Ratman197 (15228) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of coffee, bakers cocoa, roasted malt and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and spice aroma. Medium body with a thick smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark coffee bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good complex brew.

A dark clear brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, a smooth capuccino coffee with light herbal notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet chocolate with coffee grinds, milkey, a bit cloying. On tap at Knoxville Brewer’s Jam, Oct. 22 2011.
